Welcome to simmr. By using the simmr app or website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use simmr.

1. Who can use simmr

simmr is intended for people 13 years of age or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Acceptable use

simmr extracts recipes and summaries from Instagram reels that you personally share with the app. You agree that:

• You will only submit reels you have the right to view (for example, from public accounts or accounts you follow).
• You will not submit reels that contain illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, or infringing content.
• You will not attempt to bulk-download, scrape, or mirror Instagram content using simmr.
• You will not resell, redistribute, or monetize another creator's recipe without their permission.
• You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the service.

3. Your content

Recipes and summaries simmr generates from reels you share are stored in your account for your personal use. You can delete any recipe, or your entire account, at any time from within the app (Account → Delete Account).

4. Shared recipe links

When you share a recipe, simmr generates a public link. Anyone with the link can view the recipe. If you believe a shared recipe violates someone's rights or these terms, use the "Report this content" link at the bottom of the recipe page, or email [email protected]. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.

5. Intellectual property

Recipes and cooking instructions extracted from Instagram reels belong to the original creator. simmr does not claim ownership of that content. We extract and reformat it for your personal reference only. If you're a creator and want a recipe removed, email [email protected] with the reel URL and we'll process the takedown within 24 hours.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

simmr offers optional paid credit packs and subscriptions through the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).

• Credit packs are one-time purchases. Credits never expire and do not renew automatically.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from your iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or from Google Play → Subscriptions.
• All purchases are processed by Apple or Google; simmr does not handle payment cards.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.

7. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On deletion, your recipes and personal data are permanently removed; a one-way hashed identifier is retained only to prevent signup-credit abuse, as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer

simmr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Recipes extracted by AI may contain errors or omissions. Always use your judgement when cooking, especially with ingredients or techniques that could cause allergic reactions or injury. simmr is not responsible for outcomes from following extracted recipes.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of simmr after changes means you accept the updated terms.
